The worst experience I've ever had. Stay away

I used Viabox shipment calculator using data from Amazon regarding the product I wanted, Epson Home Cinema 2040 (14.6 x 14.3 x 7.2 inches, 9 pounds to Israel, TNT Economy 3-5 business days) and found that it should cost me about $100 (11 pounds billable weight). I ordered Epson Home Cinema 2040 from Amazon. It was received at Viabox ware house after 3 days. Amazon records show it was signed by WERTZWERTZ - which doesn't sound like a human being, more like gibberish. It took 2.5 days for the package to show in Viabox site. By this time I was very worried and thought maybe the package was somehow delivered to the wrong place. Note that I also used some other similar service (Buy2Usa). It took them less than an hour to update package arrival in their records. After package arrived I needed to pay for it $147.72 USD about %50 more than the info Viabox provided (18 billable pounds, to Israel, TNT Economy 3-5 Business days). I didn't understand where the 7 extra pounds came from and I couldn't see any option to repackage (which Viabox claimed is free), so I bit the bullet and ordered. Next day Viabox site claimed package was dispatched (still does - it says "dispatched: 2015-10-31"), but the tracking number was not functioning (TNT site did not recognize the tracking number) and then Viabox site went down for about a week. In this time it was impossible to get information. Then when Viabox site came back up, tracking number was still not functioning. It took 4 more days until tracking number was functioning. Then it said in TNT site Viabox actually dispatched the item on November 9th - 12 days after item was received at Viabox warehouse. All this time, I did not get any new information from Viabox support. All of this I learned by myself using info from Viabox site. And then I learned another piece of information: TNT estimate arrival date is November 24th - which is 12 business days and not 3 - 5 which I paid for 50% more than I expected, using Viabox shipping calculator. Viabox representative said they are sorry, mentioned they were hacked, and took no other action. Viabox were very unresponsive, every piece of information gleaned from their site was initially incorrect and took long days to even appear. Do youself a favor, and pick one of their competitors

Be very careful of viabox. They will not always provide you with receipts showing your purchase, only in their webpage can you see your item's details.

If you check BBB's website, which is an established consumer protection agency, viabox or Viaddress has a F rating. F being the lowest from A to F.

"BBB file experience shows a pattern of complaints alleging that the firm did not deliver the packages as agreed"

This is also what ive experienced, in that they lost a costly item, but refuse to provide a refund in a reasonable time.

Since I cant write the website, google search "viabox FAA" for the link for the story below:

"$70,020 civil penalty against Viabox of Elkhart, Ind.

The FAA alleges that on July 19, 2014, Viabox offered two containers containing flammable aerosol automotive products to FedEx for shipment by air to Montreal, Canada. FedEx employees discovered the aerosol cans and notified the FAA." "Viabox did not respond to the FAA’s notice of proposed civil penalty within the required 30 days. The FAA has issued a final notice to Viabox. In response to the final notice, Viabox may pay the amount proposed, pay an agreed-upon amount, or request a hearing." The Better Business Bureau has 45 complaints on file and in just four months the Elkhart County Sheriff's office has received 180 complaints." They were previously called viadress, probably changed their name to avoid people finding out about their previous horrendous reputation. Again, lack of prompt and proper response to serious matters and lax business standards and employees. Be prepared to spend months settling an issue with them. Also be prepared to handle vague responses and blame shifting.

Viabox is terrible. I paid 70 $ for shipmment of 50$ valued small pack.

And they send it via TNT shipment by road transport syetm.

As FOB. Becasue of this *** trasportaiojnsyrtm the goods in custom and I should act as importer trader for 50$

SCAM!!!

Viabox, Viaddress out of Indiana and Simple Shipments in Delaware are all the same company and are a fraud. According to the business license departments in each of the county their offices or warehouses in they do not have a business license. In fact we contacted Brandy Wine Real estate in Delaware who own the Wilmington building listed by Simple Shipments as their office. Brandy Wine confirms they have never leased space from them in that building. Unfortunately its not just users who get scammed. Its also work from home employees to. Theives we never got paid the $3800 dollars

It looks like you got scammed by a PHISHING website called http://www.simpleshipments.com that's clearly impersonating https://www.viabox.com

Viabox is located and registered in the state of Indiana, while the scam phishing site of SimpleShipments.com is located in Delaware.

Tried to get ViaBox to forward an item to my home in Canada... Here's the reply I got: Just wanted to let you know that FedEx is not accepting your package under SHPxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. The shipping carrier is not willing to accept your commodities and will be stopped in your destination country's Customs Office so we are obliged to ship your items with other carriers. We are working with FedEx to resolve this issue but since it will take us longer than expected we would like to ship your items via TNT, DHL or USPS. FedEx Priority shipping from all other US sources has no problem shipping to Canadian addresses. My guess is that VB is asking me to switch couriers who: 1. all charge more than FedEx, and 2. tag on huge customs brokerage fees further inflating my shipping costs What kind of freight forwarding company doesn't work with FedEx?

Misleading & uncooperative

Even though the Viabox site says that you can send items to your suite by Fedex, FedEx refuses to deliver to Viabox. Can't find out why, but after reading reviews after my experience, mine is NOT an isolated case. Viabox do not inform customers that this is a recurring problem. . I had an item shipped to Viabox twice (costing me shipping TWICE) and eventually lost the item because FedEx refused to deliver to Viabox. Viabox will not forward my items to another address within the U.S., citing "fraudulent activity ". The only fraudulent activity going on here is the lack of transparency and deceptive conduct by Viabox. In retrospect, after reading the numerous negative reviews about Viabox and the positive ones, from my experience the negative ones are more truthful. 20/20 vision in hindset. Should be renamed "liar box". RECOMMENDATION - STAY WELL AWAY FROM VIABOX

My first action is deleting my account och the companies account on VIABOX!! the should call them self a FraudBox. What ever you do, dont use VIABOX if you dont whanna be ripped off. If you want to being on yourself much stress and frustration, please be my guest and deal with them.

1- My item is received at my unit and the shipping cost is 3.5 times more than what I was quoted for when using the shipping calculator, I will take the fault for this one as I am not able to locate the screenshot I took for the estimate. 2- I decide to return the good because the shipping cost is way more than what I anticipated, so I request a return and days go by and the time is still not picked up. I contact the vendor and they inform me that they tried numerous time to contact the only number provided on their website but no one would pick up and they need to schedule a pick up time. I also tried requesting viabox to contact my vendor to schedule a suitable time, they promised to do so but never did. 3- Almost 3 weeks goes by, I decide to pay what ever amount they are asking to get this over with, I make payment for the lowest option which is FedEx and wait for 4 days for the item to be shipped, I then receive an email from viabox stating that the shipper refuses to accept my items. Great! I then ask for a refund and an alternate shipper. I would like to note that email exchange with these guys takes forever with not much help received. 4- Finally, I ask for the price of the shipping cost via TNT as the amount appearing in my shipping manager was one dollar. I receive a replay with a quoted price but now I can only pay either by bitcoin or wire transfer, something is fishy! and I am yet to receive the initial payment made via FedEx. I am not sure where this will lead but my hopes are not too high. Do yourself a favor and stay away from unnecessary headache, stress and frustration.

This is an update of my earlier post. Eventually I have received my refund and all my reqests have been met by them. I prolly exaggerated and got panicy due to making a high amount payment but it all got sorted out.
